Return to Play Procedures

Football Workout Schedule for Cherokee County School Systems
Phase 1 Return to Play

  • Players must know their assigned workout group.
  • Varsity (10th, 11th, 12th Grade) Week 1 - we will go Wed June 10, Thurs June 11, Fri June 12
  • Varsity (10th, 11th, 12th Grade) Week 2 & 3 workout days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Workout times will be 
    • Group 1 – Report too school for screening 7:00 am Workout 7:30 am to 8:15 am
    • Group 2 – Report too school for screening 7:45 am Workout 8:15 am to 9:00 am
    • Group 3 – Report too school for screening 8:30 am Workout 9:00 am to 9:45 am
    • Group 4 – Report too school for screening 9:15 am Workout 9:45 am to 10:30 am
    • Group 5 – Report too school for screening 10:00 am Workout 10:30 am to 11:15 am
    • (If Needed) Group 6 – Report too school for screening 10:45 am Workout 11:15 am to 12

General Notes and Guidelines

  • Players must have a current physical on file. 
  • All players must have a signed Covid-19 form on the June 10th to participate.
  • All players are to report 30 minutes before their scheduled workout time to get their screening completed. 
  • Students should report to the facility already dressed for conditioning. 
  • Players that drive will park in the main parking lot.
  • Parents who are dropping off a player will drop them off in the main parking lot. (Not by the fieldhouse)
  • Players and coaches will be the only ones allowed on the facility during the workout sessions.
  • No parents/visitors are allowed on campus during workout session except to drop off or pick up their player. 
  • Once dropped off players will report to the screening tent to have their temperature taken and answer screening questions. The screening area will be by the fieldhouse.
  • If a player answers “Yes” to any question of the screening questions, they will be sent home.  They will not be allowed to return for 14 days or when the symptoms no longer exist, which is longer).  However, they may return sooner with verification of a negative COVID-19 test. 
  • Please check with your player before they leave home.  If they do not feel well or they could answer “Yes” any of the above questions, please have them stay home until the symptoms no long exist.
  • Players and coaches will remain with their workout group during the duration of the Phase 1 to limit  risk of exposure. 
  • Player will not be allowed to access the locker rooms or shower facilities. Player must shower at home. 
  • Each player must bring their own personal labeled water bottle. Player should try to bring a gallon jug filled with Ice and water.  Players will not be allowed to share.
  • There will be no use of water fountains or “water stations” while at workouts. 
  • Although not required, masks/face covering are allowed if the player and or parents feels it is necessary. 
  • Once the workout session is over players must leave the campus.  
  • If you are picking up a player, please be on time.
